Chhath Festival-Kathmandu, Nepal-A beautiful young woman poses for me during the Chhath Festival honoring the Sun God. This festival in Nepal is mostly recognized by the people of the Tarai and Mithila regions who settle in Kathmandu for work as well people from Uttar Pradesh and other Indian states that have relocated to the valley. As the women dress in their best saris it is a wonderfully colorful event taking place along the Bagmati and Bishnumati Rivers in either October or November.
