Kathmandu, Nepal-In a few weeks I’ll be back in Kathmandu which will be my 8th visit in as many years. No Starbucks, McDonalds, Uniqlo, or H&M. Relatively undeveloped, fiercely independent, it’s one of the few authentic travel experiences left in Asia. Never knew how much this place would have an impact on the direction of my life, starting out with a 4 day sightseeing visit after almost 3 weeks in Tibet 8 years ago. No problem getting these Sadhus or holy men to pose for you as long as you’ve got some baksheesh in your pocket.
