  • Nepal Earthquakes 2015(Bhaktapur)-When I look at this picture I wonder if there wasn’t more I could have done. These young women are putting on a brave face but for the last 30 days they’d been living in a tent with 38 other people in completely unsuitable conditions. I had gone to Nepal to help deliver two messages during the devastating earthquakes of 2015. One, that despite what international media had been reporting, the country still had in most cases, 90% of it’s tourist infrastructure intact and the industry was not in ruins. Two, help was still needed, cash indeed, but more importantly, continued visits to the country either with the intentions volunteering or sightseeing. Two years later Nepal still needs your help! Every visit has a positive impact on at least 7 people. The incredible Himalaya, a rich diverse culture, bengal tigers and rhino, and the birthplace of the Buddha! In the next 2 years I urge you to consider Nepal as one of your next dream vacations! Namaste! ???? #nepal #kathmandu #nepalearthquake #everest #buddhism #podcast #streetphotography#photojournalism #backpacking #away #tripme #traveling #alone #photooftheday #travelblogger #new#happiness#travelingram #instago #instatravel#traveltheworld #instago #beautifulplace#travelpics#travellife #wildernessculture#instafollow#travellife #FF #igtravel #followme #travelphotography December 19, 2017 at 09:30AM
