Taj Mahal-Agra, India-Not the classic view but from any angle it’s the most beautiful building in the world! It felt like I was in a dream when I entered the grounds and saw it for the first time. I stayed in a little backpacker hotel in the neighborhood next to the Taj Mahal called Tajganj, the site of many Bollywood films. I admired it in the afternoons while I sipped tea from the rooftop cafe of my hotel. I also watched the crazy monkeys that reek havoc on the rooftops of houses chatting with some of the locals venting their frustration. Go early in the morning, get dressed up spend a few hours at this incredible monument then go for a nice vegetarian lunch, have a rest then head for Agra Fort in the afternoon.
