A Hike Above Thousands Of Camels -Pushkar India

While visiting Pushkar India during their annual camel fair I decided to get up early one morning and hike to the top of Ratnagiri Hill, home of the Savitri Temple.

My first look at the lights from the temple in the distance. I’m in the main bazaar its just after five in the morning and it feels like the place never shut down, amazing! This is the Brahma Temple, a must visit here for a beautiful pure experience.

I truly do enjoy visiting parts of a city or sites at different times of the day for a completely different atmosphere and this is very different from the daytime crowd.

This is the entrance to the steps that lead up to the temple. It’s less than an hour’s hike from the centre of town.
This is Pushkar Lake, one of the holiest sites in all of India and where some of Mahatma Ghandi’s ashes are scattered.

A beautiful day and experience high atop Savitri Temple in Pushkar, India.
