If you’ve spent any length of time in Taiwan you’ll know that it’s hard to keep up with all of the different festivals, celebrations, and rituals that surround the many Gods that are followed, worshipped and prayed to everyday. It’s the reason why it’s such an exciting place to be and experience a rich culture.
The latest celebration I attended was the Baosheng Emperor’s birthday celebrations at the Baoan Temple in Taipei.
The Baosheng Emperor otherwise known as the Medicine God is the main deity of the Baoan Temple. As with most any celebration at this venerated temple it is produced with the greatest care and respect for tradition. This year was no exception.
