Street Food, Nightmarkets-Part 4-LIVE from Raohe Night Market-Taipei, Taiwan

My fourth broadcast featuring street food talk in Asia is from one of Taipei, Taiwan’s oldest and most famous nightmarkets-Raohe! Located in East Taipei Raohe Nightmarket is anchored by the beautiful 6 floor Ciyou Temple dedicated to Matsu, Goddess Of The Sea. It’s especially striking at night when it’s exterior is fully lit. On the night I recorded the podcast there was also a temple lantern festival with some of the lanterns left over from Taipei’s giant Lantern Festival held in February/early March 2018.Raohe is an easy nightmarket to navigate as it’s basically on one street with a length of about 600 meters, so it’s pretty hard to get lost there. It’s actually not too hard to figure out which are the most popular food stalls, like anywhere just look for the line-ups.I would love to get your feedback on the podcast. Do you appreciate the food series? What else do you want to listen to? Stories, insight, travel information. Email me john@fareasttravels.com
