Siem Reap has some of the best dining options in all of Cambodia. In this video I talk about the many choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and my recommendations based on my last lengthy visit in the town.

Top Recommendations-Breakfast:

1. Sister Srey Cafe-great breakfast options with good choices for vegetarians. Good coffee!
2. Soup Dragon-Love the Vietnamese breakfasts. Shrimp cupcakes, Banh Xeo(crepes) with piles of fresh herbs. Vietnamese coffee!
3. Cafe Central-Good waffles great Illy coffee! Great service!
4. Blue Pumpkin-Baked goods, Western and Khmer set breakfasts. Good coffee!
5. Viva-Breakfast burritos, good pancakes, Lavazza coffee.

Top Recommendations-Lunch and Dinner:

1. Khmer Kitchen-One of my favorite places in Siem Reap. Two locations. Great value with lots of choices. Get there early if you want shrimp dishes-they sell-out fast.
   Value is so good I looked at my bill to make sure they didn’t forget to charge me for something.
2. Chamkar-Vegetarian restaurant that uses top quality ingredients. Authentic flavors, innovative dishes. Nice house wines.
3. Haven-NGO style restaurant that is usually fully booked. Make reservations upon arrival in Siem Reap. When I was there it was a 5 day wait for a table in the evening. Exceptional fusion food.
4. Amok-Excellent fish amok. One of the best I had anywhere in Cambodia.
5. Le Tigre de Papier-Great traditional Khmer fare on Pub Street.
6. Curry Walla-Good tasty Indian food on Sivatha Street. The thalis are huge-you don’t need anything else if you order one.

Exceptional Dining Recommendations:

1. Sugar Palm-Beautiful wooden traditional Khmer house. Very atmospheric with a great bar, drinks and exceptional dishes. The Kampot Peppercorn Squid was superb!
2. Cuisine Wat Damnak-In a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood opposite side of river from the center of town. Amazing high quality food, authentic and original recipes, exceptional ingredients, fantastic service. I had specific food requests and with a couple of days notice they customized my 6 course dinner including a specially made dessert. $26USD plus wines. Outstanding food, amazing value!
