Bali – Surrounded by Spirituality

Bali – Surrounded by Spirituality

bali

To me Bali is the perfect spot to reconnect to your inner self. It’s spiritual. With temples scattered throughout the island and worship everywhere. You can’t help but feel apart of this because expressing your faith in Bali takes place throughout the day and is not hidden behind doors. It’s on display for everyone to see. The great Basikeh temple was one of my favorite spots.

Reconnecting also means taking your time walking through the Monkey Forest in Ubud. Or taking a day trip to enjoy the beautiful Jatiluwih Rice fields.I found colors and texture and life everywhere I explored. From the beautiful barong dance to the rice fields and peaceful countryside.

There’s also opportunity everywhere to enjoy and appreciate Tri Hita Karana. The Balinese Hindu concept of harmony with god, harmony with community and harmony with nature.
Seeing the Kecak fire dance was a mind blowing experience. But my daily walks through villages of worshippers and monkeys, and nightly story telling was my reconnection to happiness and self, in Bali.
